Volunteer

Volunteering is an integral part of WHALE LAN. Work alongside LMG staff and other dedicated community members to turn our LANs into an amazing experience for all attendees!

 

What does a volunteer do?

Volunteers help out with a variety of tasks. Mainly with setup, teardown, activations, check-in and more.

 

What do you receive for volunteering?

Volunteers that complete their assigned jobs will receive a volunteer merch pack and a meal during each day that they had to assist with the event. Additional volunteer perks may be available on a per event basis.

 

How old do you need to be to volunteer?

Anyone over the age of 18 can apply to be a volunteer.

 

Do I need to buy a ticket to volunteer?

Nope! Volunteers will receive access to the event so they can enjoy the LAN when not assisting with the LAN itself. Please note that being a volunteer may exclude you from some or all contests or prizes at the LAN.

 

I already bought a ticket, but I also want to volunteer. Can I get a refund?

Anyone chosen to join the volunteer team will be eligible for a refund up to the price of a regular ticket if one has already been purchased already. If you are within the 30 day return period you can login to your account profile to request a refund, if you are outside of the return period please contact support.
